Reporting to the Crew Chief/Lead Technician, the Crew Helper/Technician will be responsible for conducting various general cleaning services at assigned commercial client sites. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is a list of the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.  The tasks and the time spent performing each task may vary as business needs require. ServiceMaster Clean maintains the right to modify job duties and responsibilities at its discretion.

Duties

  • Perform assigned cleaning services carefully, promptly, and efficiently
  • Assist Crew Leader with any additional cleaning/restoration duties as directed
  • Arrive at the office as per the scheduled time(s) to prepare for daily appointments
  • Resolve any production, mechanical and scheduling difficulties encountered 
  • Handle and maintain equipment, supplies, vehicles and products assigned and report  any equipment malfunction promptly to the Production Manager
  • Arrive to work sites / customer homes on a timely basis and report any changes to schedule immediately to the Crew Chief/Lead Technician
  • Provide customers with estimates for proposed work when required
  • Process payments for completed job assignments, and/or confirm any alternative arrangements already made with the customer
  • Report any customer problem or any damage to customers property the same day in which it occurred the Crew Chief/Lead Technician
  • Facilitate completion of customers satisfaction card with references when services have been successfully delivered
  • Market services to neighbours of existing clients to increase awareness and clientele
  • Complete daily timecard in accordance to policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned vehicle
  • Perform regular maintenance on equipment used including truck mount and portable use equipment
  • Prepare truck with materials and equipment for use the following day
  • Attend weekly meetings with production team and contribute ideas to the improvement of ServiceMaster in areas related to production, sales and supervision 
  • Develop and maintain skills in cleaning and restoration services with a focus on high quality production
  • Perform service as requested in the warehouse and office facilities
  • Attend training workshops as required for the production team
  • Help train new crew helpers/technicians in accordance with ServiceMaster standards
